Cookie-pinecones
- Quantity: 14–16 pcs.
- Preparation time: 60 minutes
- Difficulty of preparation: easy
Necessary ingredients:
- 100g of softened butter
- 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 270-300g of flour
- 3 tbsp cocoa
- 0.5 tsp. baking powder
- 4.5 tbsp. sugar powder
- a pinch of salt
- powdered sugar for decoration
Step-by-step cooking recipe:
- 1. In a bowl, mix butter, powdered sugar and salt until smooth.
- 2. Add oil, egg and mix well.
- 3. The next step is to add cocoa and mix again.
- 4. Sift 2/3 of all flour together with baking powder into the resulting mass, and then mix again.
- 5. Gradually add the remaining flour, because you may need a little less or, on the contrary, more. The dough should be soft, hold its shape and not stick to your hands.
Tip: if the dough crumbles, then too much flour has been added. To fix it, you need to add 1 tsp. water until you get the required consistency.
- 6. Put the dough in cling film or a bag and leave it for 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
- 7. Turn on the oven and heat it up to 180 degrees.
- 8. Separate small pieces of dough and give them an oval shape. Then make diagonal cuts in two directions with a knife. Thus, our cookies will look like a real pinecone.
- 9. Put the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment and send to the oven for about 15 minutes.
- 10. Hold the cookies in a vertical position, sprinkle with powdered sugar, this way you will get real winter cones.
Tip: another option for serving cookies, this will connect two pinecones with the help of a filling. It can be jam, chocolate paste or your favorite ice cream.
