Delicious and simple cake with nuts and prunes, which is quite easy and quick to prepare. It will be a great treat for sudden guests or, for example, for a family evening with watching movies.

Ingredients:
- 5 l of milk
- 80 g butter
- 5 eggs
- 120 g flour
- 120 g sugar
- 200 g prunes
- 50 g nuts
- 50 ml rum
- 1 sachet of vanillin
- a pinch of salt
Recipe step by step:
- 1. Heat milk in a saucepan. Add vanillin and half of all butter (40 g)
- 2. In a deep bowl, mix flour, sugar and salt.
- 3. Then add the eggs one at a time, beating with a whisk.
- 4. Add rum to the milk and, without stopping whisking, pour the milk into the egg mixture. Mix vigorously until the dough is soft and smooth.
- 5. Chop the nuts, and remove the seeds from the prunes.
Note: you can replace prunes with 250 g of raisins. Soak in warm water for half an hour. Squeeze, dry and put on the dough.
- 6. Turn on the oven to heat up to a temperature of 190 degrees.
- 7. Lubricate the baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour.
- 8. Put the dough into a mold, spread the prunes, chopped nuts and pieces of the remaining creamy butter on top.
- 9. Bake for about 50 minutes until golden brown.
Tip: If the top starts to burn while baking, cover the cake with foil.
When serving, you can add a scoop of your favorite ice cream, which will perfectly complement the taste of the pie.
