A simple and delicious recipe for tender cupcakes with a sweet summer berry – sweet cherries.

Ingredients:
- 300 g sweet cherry
- 60 g softened butter
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 250 g flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 200 ml milk
- 50 g powdered sugar
- salt
- butter and flour for molds
Recipe step by step:
- 1. Wash the cherries, remove the pits, and cut into pieces.
Tip: sweet cherry can be replaced with cherry, but then the amount of sugar needs to be slightly increased, since cherry are more acidic.
- 2. In a bowl, combine softened butter with sugar and beat until a homogeneous cream is obtained.
- 3. Then add flour with baking powder through a sieve and mix gently with a spoon.
- 4. Next, add eggs, milk and a pinch of salt and mix thoroughly until smooth.
- 5. At the end, add chopped cherries along with the juice that has stood out.
- 6. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
- 7. Grease the molds with butter and sprinkle with flour. Spread the mixture evenly over the molds. Place them on the oven rack and bake for about 25 minutes.
- 8. Remove the molds from the oven and let them cool slightly. Remove warm cupcakes from molds and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
- 9. Serve with a scoop of your favorite ice cream.
